Love Watering Can

Trudy emailed me a photo of this gorgeous card to share with you:

The image is 2244G Love Watering, and I think 3480F Sending A Bunch would be perfect for the inside.

I love all the beautiful accents...from the leaf ribbon trim to the punched flowers with orange brads in the centers to the Diamond Glaze atop Stickles on the hearts and dragonfly. She also zigzag stitched the edges of the layered panels and used foam tape to add dimension to the stamped image.

At first glance, I thought Trudy had included some sort of stitching on the scalloped edges of the circle. But when I asked her, I was surprised to learn how she really did it. The scalloped circle was dry embossed, and then she pierced each scallop with a tiny hole. Finally, she dragged the edges over a pigment pad and backed the whole thing with a circle of patterned paper the same size of the scallop. Here's a closeup:

It really is "all in the details," and this card is a perfect example of that...don't you think? Thanks to Trudy for her lovely creation!
