"Try It Different" Tuesday: Beaver's Project

This beaver image and its coordinating saying are classic Inky stamps that have been well-loved for many years:

The above card first appeared on our main website a while back. Last fall, we reduced the image slightly and put it into 11010MC Forest Friends #2 Clear Set:

If you look closely, you may notice this card utilizes the smaller version:

Of course, all of the designs in this post can be created with either size image by making minor modifications.

Want to know a little secret? The larger size image will be retiring at the end of February, and it will be on sale for 25% off starting the day after tomorrow!

Here's another example with the image on a large main panel:

Another idea is to cut out the image and mount it onto a patterned paper background:

Or go somewhere in the middle and use a medium panel, as Lana Lepinski did here:

Try tilting the image panel for a different effect:

Or hide the entire piece in a handmade sleeve:

Peggy Peltier's card has a separate saying that hangs from eyelets, so it will automatically flip down when the card is removed from the sleeve:

How fun is that! Which of these cards "wood" you like to create?
