"Try It Different" Tuesday: Bunny Parade

One of the many benefits of clear sets is the ability to mix and match elements, while being able to see where exactly where you're stamping them. Take 11091MC Bunny Parade Clear Set (drawn by artist Tammy DeYoung), for instance:

Trudy Sjolander created this adorable Easter card, which shows the little chick image stamped repeatedly in the basket next to the bunny:

True chose the cardstock first to get the colors she wanted to use on the image. Then she "fancied it up" with stitching and some tiny pearls. I love how the inked edges really add definition to the panels.

And did you notice how she used a white gel pen to highlight the bow and basket? She also colored in parts of the letters to emphasize the saying. Awesome details, huh!

Then, to change things up completely, she took a similar image created from the same set (with eggs instead of chicks, also available as 9961H Bunny & Eggs Basket in the wood mounted version) and turned it into this super cute treat bag topper:

The scalloped oval with pearls and white accents are repeated, but this time True used a brighter the color palette. She added grass underneath the basket and larger pearls around the perimeter, and shortened the saying.

Not done with your Easter projects yet? There's still time to "hop to it" and make something fun for all your peeps!
