Sunday Stamping With Chelle Fowler: Pitcher Bouquet Oval

When Chelle Fowler chose 11096MC Daisy Bouquets Clear Set (drawn by artist Vicki Schreiner) for one of her projects, I wasn't quite sure which main image she was planning to use:

Since Chelle is a manager at Starbucks, I probably could have guessed it wouldn't be the teacup. She'd also mentioned that she "can always be found with either an iced coffee or iced tea."

So it makes sense that she picked the other image, which is 2872K Pitcher Bouquet Oval in the wood mounted version, to create this charming card:

You can click on the above image to view a larger version and see all of Chelle's wonderful details. An example is her coloring, which was done using Copic Markers:

And, oh, those fun embellishments! Besides a few vintage buttons strung together with pearl cotton, I love the little images cut out from patterned paper and layered onto the card:

Supplies:  11096MC Daisy Bouquet Clear Set, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Echo Park This & That Graceful 6 X 6 Paper Pad, Copic Markers, Mini Scallops Sizzix On Edge Die, Spellbinders Oval Die, Vintage Photo Distress Ink, Ink Blending Tool, Non-Stick Craft Mat, Foam Squares, Glossy Accents.

It's been such a delight to have Chelle as our Inky Guest Designer in May. Won't you please join me and say thanks for her great ideas and inspiration by leaving a comment at the end of this post?

When I asked Chelle to share a few words of wisdom, she said this:

My best advice is to be true to yourself...use what you like and have fun. Every once in a while, think outside the box and challenge yourself to do something outside your comfort may surprise yourself!
