Sunday Stamping With Kerri Michaud: Rose

When we first started conceptualizing the HoneyPOP Collection, I wanted to create stamp sets that would be versatile enough to use with our Honeycomb Paper Pads as well as on their own.

That's why every HoneyPOP Clear Set contains non-honeycomb images in addition to the honeycomb pattern pieces. Take our 11108MC Rose HoneyPOP Clear Set, for example:

As you can see, there's a whole blooming rose, rosebud and stem, ornate corner accent, and three sayings...besides the honeycomb rosebud pattern, of course. That gives you a whole lot of stamping possibilities!

This page shows a HoneyPOP-style card, featuring a magenta honeycomb rosebud. As for "regular" cards made with the same stamp set, you may recall Debbie Fisher's lovely vintage-style rose card in last month's blog hop.

Well, we've got another one to show you, this time from Kerri Michaud. Take a look at her gorgeous card:

Kerri colored the rose with Copic markers and layered it with foam tape over My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Madison Avenue patterned paper:

She sponged inside the edges of her die-cut saying to make it stand out:

By the way, that pretty bracket in the upper left above, as well as this neat fishtail flag, are both from MFT Die-namics:

What great details to complement Kerri's pretty creation. With or without the fun honeycomb paper, we love them all!
