Sunday Stamping With Kerri Michaud: Daisy Teacup

Kerri Michaud admits that she's "a dp junkie," and she gets inspiration for her stamping projects in designer paper and sketches.

The paper she chose for today's card is Follow Your Heart Be Happy from My Mind's Eye. It's aqua and white, so Kerri paired it up with salmon pink cardstock for contast:

In an earlier post, she'd talked about choosing the image and designer papers first, and then coloring the image to coordinate with the papers.

So that's exactly what Kerri did here, adding some green for the leaves:

She did a wonderful job blending the Copic markers, and I love how she double-stamped the daisies and popped two of them up with foam tape. Here's the entire card:

Isn't it beautiful? Simple and elegant...not too fussy, but "just enough" in terms of embellishments!

In case you were wondering, Kerri used 11096MC Daisy Bouquets Clear Set, drawn by artist Vicki Schneider:

The wood mounted versions are 2893J Daisy Teacup and 0096C Tea Time.

I've had such a nice time "talking" with Kerri and seeing her gorgeous projects, and I hope you feel the same. If so, will you please leave a note below to join me in thanking her for being this month's Inky Guest Designer?

Kerri used R37, R35, and R32 for the flowers. YG25, YG23, YG21, and YG67 for the leaves. The border along the bottom is a die from My Favorite Things. :-)
