"Try It Different" Tuesday: Balloon Buddies

Yesterday, Steve and I got back from the Orlando show, where we enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces and also meeting new Inky customers!

One of my demos featured 11086MC Balloon Buddies HoneyPOP Clear Set (drawn by artist Tammy DeYoung):

I showed how to create the inside portion of this card:

Here it is, shown with a pretty sky background made using our Cloud Stencil:

Want to see these guys done up a different way? Look at Michelle Pearson's cute version:

Instead of sponging the cloud background, she fussy-cut the image and placed them onto patterned paper:

And check out this adorable one made by Gretchen Weller:

I love how she stamped the sentiment phrases onto clouds and popped them up with foam tape:

Melanie (Lemonie) made a coordinating envelope for her fun card:

She added a humorous twist by turning this into a birthday card for a 50-year-old friend:

As you may know, all of our HoneyPOP Clear Stamp Sets are specially designed with a non-honeycomb alternative image, so you can use them to make standard greeting cards, as well.

See the hot air balloon image? Crystal Irwin substituted it for the honeycomb image to make this "regular" card that is anything but regular:

The patterned paper chosen by Shelly (yo sam) is the perfect complement to the main image:

Speaking of patterned paper, look at the neat way Julie (Juble) used it only in the lower half of her die-cut image and added bakers twine across the middle:
