"Try It Different" Tuesday: Picnic Basket

Summertime is picnic time, so this card by Belva Brown really fits the season nicely:

The featured stamps are 7011J Picnic Basket and 6703F Life's A Picnic, and Belva accented her basket with 7009B Sm. Sunflower, 7002D Sage, and 7003D Herb Sprig (all drawn by artist Stacy West).

Trudy Sjolander also used the main image and saying in her lovely gingham-inspired greeting:

In her blog post, True suggested using a fine-tipped Sharpie marker to color in the red areas and mimic the texture of fabric by drawing lines...so smart!

And check out this adorable three-dimensional basket by Crystal Irwin, made with the same stamp saying along with the ladybug from 10989MC Buggie Friends Clear Set (drawn by artist Tammy DeYoung):

Crystal created this project especially for our email newsletter subscribers. The July issue, which includes a FREE downloadable instruction sheet that explains how to make her pretty picnic basket, will be sent on Thursday.
