"Try It Different" Tuesday: Square Box Template

Sometimes it's hip to be square! Take our X2-2940 Square Box Template, for example. Look at the cute projects you can create:

Here, let's take a closer peek:

Debbie Fisher made these adorable snowmen boxes using the template stamp. They're super easy to put together, as you can see in our step-by-step photo tutorial.

She decorated the boxes with 11137MC Snowy's Woodland Pals Clear Set, which is part of the brand new Heavenly Christmas Collection:

In the first two boxes, Debbie covered the window with acetate and adhered her cut-out image on top.

Another option is to omit the window and use a solid panel instead:

The above box features 10167H Snowy's Treats. All of the stamp images in today's post were drawn by artist Tammy DeYoung.

You can also use part of the stamp to create a cover flap for your box, as Michelle Pearson did here:

When you open the cover flap, you can view the treats inside (if you've put a window in your box, that is):

The mini images and sayings above are from 10997MC Snow Turtle Clear Set. Below is another box with a cover flap, but decorated in an autumn theme with Lg. Cube 0531 Pilgrim Punch:

I put cider mulling spices in a baggie, and placed them into the box:

What other treats can YOU think of putting inside?

Love these boxes! What a great idea for a gift card...birthday, wedding, Christmas. Sky's the limit! :) Would also be fun with dollar bills. The grands love getting money inside their cards (ex. $10 for a 10-year birthday). It's an extra treat to go with their gift! Thanks for sharing!

Very cute! Small candy bars would be great and I like Debbie's idea of money.
