"Try It Different" Tuesday: Caterpillar HoneyPOP

Ready or not, it's almost back to school time! If you want to give the teachers or kids an apple, how about doing it the HoneyPOP way?

Today we're featuring 11025MC Caterpillar HoneyPOP Set, drawn by artist Tammy DeYoung:

Since its initial release, we've seen a bunch of fantastic projects made with this set, such as the cards shown here, here, and here...and even a HoneyPOP apple basket.

Want to see more ideas? MichellePearson created this cute card:

The patterned paper inside adds such a burst of different colors, and the red tissue tape is a unique base for our little caterpillar to sit on:

Debbie Fisher used a cool palette to give her card a completely different look:

To tie everything together, she repeated the patterned paper inside, too:

Debbie also changed things up by orienting this one horizontally instead of vertically:

What a fun variation:

Shelly Koskinen's book-themed designer paper is such a great complement:

Her kraft cardstock base is also a nice change of pace:

Lori Craig was feeling "krafty," too...and her paper piecing, glittery apple, and gingham ribbon accents are just too cute:

Finally, here's an awesome idea from Sue Drees. She made a joy fold card using this set:

And she added two honeycomb apples to both inside folds:

How brilliant is that? All of these ladies made such wonderful cards, and I love the wide variety of looks. Hope you have a wonderful day, Inky friends...and happy back-to-school time!
