Sunday Stamping With Jeanne Streiff: Gobble 'Til You Wobble

For Thanksgiving this year, are you hosting the big dinner or traveling to someone else's house?

Either way, this delightful turkey treat bag would make a wonderful gift...whether you put one at each place setting or bring a basket full to share with everyone:

Jeanne Streiff created it using her Sizzix Eclips machine and Albums, Boxes & Bags cartridge:

She dry embossed the front using a Sizzix Texture Fades folder in the Dot Matrix pattern:

Look at the great textured pattern it made:

She inked the raised areas with brown ink, doodled around the edge with a black pen, and then assembled her box.

Her stamped image is 1331K Tom (drawn by artist Janie Miller), which was colored, cut out, and attached with foam tape. I love how Jeanne drew feathery lines on the turkey for visual interest:

And check out her awesome embellishments, including a button tied with baker's twine, woven burlap ribbon, and Flower Soft Autumn Mix sprinkled around Tom's feet:

Finally, Jeanne stamped and die cut the 0236B Gobble 'Til Wobble saying (also available in 10918MC Gobbles Turkey Clear Set, drawn by artist Tammy DeYoung), sponged the edges with brown ink, and matted it onto an orange scallop circle die cut to make her bag complete:

Once you stuff these adorable bags with goodies, I'll bet they get gobbled up really quickly!

Very cute--I like the embossing and the feather lines.
We are traveling a short distance to my sister-in-law's house for dinner.
