"Try It Different" Tuesday: Manger Friends

You may recall from my introduction of Anna Wight as October's Inky Guest Designer that she lives on a farm with all kinds of critters, including chickens, goats, donkets, cattle, dogs, and cats.

Wow, that's a bunch of animals! Not only does she share her property with them, but she creates beautiful projects using stamps that contain furry and feathered pals.

For example, Anna started with 4008K Manger Friends (drawn by artist Tammy DeYoung):

How adorable is this Christmas card she made, with its "clean & simple" layout and bold designer paper from Simple Stories:

Anna used her ShinHan Touch Twin markers to color the image:

For a completely different look, choose non-traditional colors and flip the card vertically, like Anna did here:

The dressed-up button mimics the fun pattern in the designer paper by The Paper Loft:

So sweet, huh! What kind of holiday cards are you sending this year...traditional or contemporary? Elegant or cute?

Linda Rad said.....I tend to make traditional cards, and in red and green. I have tried others, but always seem to be comfortable with the traditional. The cards above are beautiful, thanks for sharing them.

These are so cute. I make religious cards for Christmas and vary between elegant and cute. This year may be elegant.
