"Try It Different" Tuesday: Gift Bag Template

It's 11 degrees below zero today in Minnesota, which is ridiculously cold. On days like this, I really wish that spring would come early.

But whether or not the groundhog sees his shadow later next week, I can still enjoy thoughts of a warmer season with stamping!

Debbie Fisher, who lives in Nebraska where it's also freezy these days, made a cheerful little gift bag that reminds me of milder weather:

The bag was created using our X1-0020 Gift Bag Template (assembly directions shown here):

Then she decorated it with 11156MC Swirly Butterflies Clear Set (drawn by artist and fellow Inky designer Trudy Sjolander), from our new Spring '13 release:

You can see how Debbie left the upper flaps intact and tied them together with a ribbon on her spring butterfly bag.

For this coffee version, she removed one of the flaps and turned the other one down to give it a different look:

The bag was accented with stamps from 11145MC Coffee Time Clear Set (drawn by artist Nancy Baier), also new to our line:

We displayed both of Debbie's adorable samples, along with many more, at our CHA show booth in California last week:

Can you spot hers on the lower left panel? And did you notice our other Gifts In Snap template stamps next to them:

I'm excited to show you more of all these projects in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, hope you stay warm and "java nice day," Inky friends!

Both of these bags are wonderful--the butterflies remind me it will be warm again some day and I think I need to get a hot drink for today.
