POP! Goes Your Color Wheel

Dina Kowal, better known as Mama Dini, is a wonderfully talented (and super sweet!) Splitcoast Dirty Dozen Alumna & Challenge Hostess.

Yesterday she posted about this week's SCS Mix-Ability Challenge, which is focused on using cool and warm color groups. As she explained, "The idea is to use colors from one side of the color wheel, and then add a POP of color from the other side."

Neat idea, right? We were even more delighted when Dina featured Inky Antics stamps on her sample card:

She used 11021SC Another Love Clear Set (with calligraphy by Barbara Callow) in her bold, beautiful creation:

Often I can tell how a card was made just by looking at it, but I was really stumped when Dina first showed this to me. How in the world did she made that awesome textured and multi-layered background?

You can find out by watching Dina's video. Then, if you wish, check out the Splitcoast challenge and join in the fun here!

P.S. If you're inspired by Dina's work, I'm thrilled to let you know that she will be joining us next month as our Guest Designer. Please also stop back here tomorrow for another great card idea by Chelsea Comer, our Inky GD during April!
