Sunday Stamping With Kim O'Connell: Kissing Moose

"I have a habit of calling people 'donkey,'" admits Kim O'Connell, "but it is a term of endearment in my book. Somehow that got turned around, though, and I became known as 'Donkey' in the crafty world. Hmph!"

We don't have any Inky stamps of donkeys in our collection yet, but we do have a few moose. Not quite the same, but they're four-legged large mammals, and Kim says "that moose with the lipstick from the [11127MC] Punny Christmas Moose Clear Set is hilarious!"

She's referring, of course, to the Kissing Moose (5261F in wood mounted) shown in this set, drawn by artist Trudy Sjolander:

Kim colored this image using alcohol-based markers, and her technique was sublime as usual:

She chose to die-cut the image into a circle, and then repeated the circle theme with two coordinating circles of patterned paper in her card layout:

This reminds me a snowball theme, especially with the dry embossed snowflake background panel and an icicle border peeking below the ribbon strip. What a creative way to evoke that "winter wonderland" feeling for the holidays, along with a delightful dose of humor thrown in!

Thanks to our talented Inky designer, Donkey (Kim), for sharing this fun Christ-moose card...and to YOU for stopping by to visit today!
