"Try It Different" Tuesday: Wish List Santa & Reindeer

Have you been naughty or nice this year? In 11190MC Santa's List Clear Set (drawn by artist Tammy DeYoung), there are stamp choices that allow for either option:

Of course, we're pretty sure that our Inky friends fall into the "nice" category! And that means you'll want to make a long list for Santa...or at least for your own Christmas shopping list. ;-)

To help with this, Debbie Fisher made a charming project shown on the main Inky site this week, which looks like a tall, skinny card on the outside:

But when you open it up, you'll see there is a notepad on the inside:

The front cover features our Wish List Santa (0918F in wood mounted) and Nice Notice (0712D in wood mounted) images.

The front and back covers are each 2 5/8" wide by 8" tall, with a 1/4" spine to allow for the thickness of the note pad. This size accommodates a 2 3/8" x 8" notepad, but you can easily adjust the measurements to fit note pads with other dimensions.

Now, what about that adorable reindeer in the same set? Michelle Pearson used him on this festive card:

I love how she turned the word block (which would also make a great background, stamped repeatedly) into a wrapped present with a bit of baker's twine...how smart is that!

Finally, Debbie put both character images together in this cute creation:

See, there's Santa on the left, carefully cut out and adorned with sparkly glitter:

And here's Rudolph, accented with white gel pen freckles:

Did you notice the oval shapes used to ground the images and tie them together? What a delightful card to celebrate the season!
