Show & Tell: Never-Ending Square & Card Loom Cards
Today I've got two fun "show and tell" projects to share with you, Inky friends. It's awesome to see how other folks use our products!
At the Carson convention earlier this month, one of our customers watched my demo using the IAD-005 Never-Ending Square die. She paid very close attention and said she was going to try it herself that night, and she'd come back to ask any questions the following day.
On Sunday, I was delighted when Carol G. came back to show me the Never-Ending Square she'd made:
It turned out so cute, and I wished I'd taken some close-up shots. You'll just have to take my word for it. :-) Carol reported that it was easy to create, especially when she watched the video tutorial as a reminder.
After I got home, I received an email from the talented Tina Covington:
She'd made this adorable bunny basket card, which was decorated with 10954MC Carrot Bunny Clear Set (drawn by artist Janie Miller):
It's a stair-step card, which you can see better from this angle:
The inside is decorated to coordinate with the front, which is always a lovely touch:
And my favorite part? The basket was woven from strips of patterned paper inserted through the die-cut lines made with the IAD-004 Card Loom Die:
After weaving her paper strips, Tina took a white cardstock basket piece that had been pre-cut to the correct size. She glued this piece to the back of the "loomed" panel and then trimmed the edges off. So clever!
If you live in the Dallas area, Tina will be teaching this bunny basket card (along with two additional Easter cards) at The Crafty Scrapper next Wednesday, March 26th and Saturday, March 29th. For more details, check out Tina's blog post.
Thanks so much to Carol and Tina for sharing their wonderful creations...and, of course to YOU, for joining us today!
