"Try It Different" Tuesday: Farm Friends

From the comments left on last Tuesday's post, it sounds like many of you enjoy paper piecing as much as I do! We couldn't resist showing you just one more adorable card that Michelle Pearson made for us, using this great technique:

The patterned papers on her card are rather subtle, to add visual interest while still letting those cute critters' expressions come through! To create this project, Michelle used stamps from 11237MC Farm Friends #1 Clear Set (drawn by artist Janie Miller):

This week's card on our main Inky site features the same cute stamp set:

For a neat variation, you can use a similar layout and colors on your card, as shown in this one by Michelle Cutts:

The lower part of the card was die-cut with IAD-004 Card Loom Die (designed by Michelle Cutts):

Using this die is such a quick and easy way to add a fun interactive element. When you pull up on the ribbon, a hidden message (or image) is revealed underneath:

This charming card by Michelle Pearson also features cut-out elements, such as the fussy cut main image, notched sentiment banner, and die-cut fence background:

We think you'll agree that these cards are a "cut above the rest"!
